Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026
The short version
True Square Sites builds and runs a website (and a simple logo) for your business for a monthly fee. There is no upfront fee and no long-term contract. You can cancel any time, and your service runs through the end of the month you’ve already paid for. You own your domain, your content and your logo files.
These terms apply when you subscribe to a True Square Sites plan. By paying for a plan, you agree to them. “We” means True Square Sites (Austin Medeiros, Massachusetts). “You” means the business subscribing.
Free preview
Before you pay anything, we build a preview of your site. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing. Previews are private, are not indexed by search engines, and are taken down if you don’t subscribe.
Plans and what’s included
Starter ($99/month):
- Custom, mobile-friendly site, up to 5 pages
- Simple logo designed for you
- Quote form that sends you new leads
- Hosting and SSL security
- Domain setup
- Small text and photo edits each month
Growth ($149/month): everything in Starter, plus:
- Town-by-town service-area pages
- Google Business Profile setup and cleanup
- Review-request link and page
- Seasonal banner updates
- Priority edits: your requests go to the front of the line
Prices may change; we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price change takes effect, and you can cancel before then.
Monthly edits
“Small edits” means things like changing text, swapping or adding photos, updating hours, prices or services, or adding a short announcement. Each plan includes up to about 1 hour of small edits per month (Growth: up to about 2 hours, handled first). We usually finish small edits within 2 business days (Growth: 1 business day).
Unused edit time doesn’t roll over. Bigger jobs, like a full redesign, new sections beyond your plan, or a new logo concept, are outside the monthly plan. We’ll tell you up front if a request is bigger work and quote it before doing anything.
Billing
Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, starting the day your site goes live. You can cancel at any time (see below).
If a payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry it over the following days and we’ll email you. If your account is still unpaid about 14 days after the due date, we may pause your site (take it offline) until the balance is paid. Once you pay, we put it back online.
We don’t give refunds for partial months. When you cancel, you keep your site through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Cancelling
Email hello@truesquaresites.com or use the Stripe billing link in your receipts to cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month; you won’t be charged again.
When you cancel, we’ll send you an export of your content (text and photos) and your logo files on request. After the paid period ends, the site is taken offline. Your domain stays yours, and we’ll help point it wherever you want it to go.
Who owns what
You own your domain name, your business content (text, photos, reviews you provide), and the final logo files we design for you once your account is paid up.
We keep ownership of the site template, design system, code and tools we use to build and run sites. You get to use them for as long as you subscribe. They aren’t transferred when you cancel, but your content and logo are.
You confirm you have the right to use any photos, text or logos you send us, and you give us permission to use them to build and run your site.
Your domain
If you already own a domain, it stays in your account; we only need DNS access to connect it. If we register a new domain for you, it is registered in your business’s name, and we’ll transfer it to you whenever you ask.
Hosting and uptime
We host your site with reputable providers and work to keep it fast, secure and online. Outages from hosting providers, internet issues or other things outside our control can happen, so uptime is best-effort and not guaranteed. If something breaks, we’ll fix it as quickly as we reasonably can.
Acceptable use
Your site must be for a lawful business and can’t include content that is illegal, infringing, or misleading. We may decline or remove content that breaks these rules.
Limits of liability
We provide the service “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost profits, lost leads or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we’ll email active clients before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
